We review the top 5 photo albums for your Instax mini camera prints. Keep your film photos organized in style with these great albums.
Every Instax film photographer needs a good set of photo albums to store and display their printed pictures in. Whether you shoot mini, square or wide Instax film, having a ready supply of albums before you start shooting is a great way to keep things neat and organized from day one.
One of the most common questions I get asked is how I keep all my Instax prints organized.
Personally, I prefer to have a combination of smaller wallet albums to carry around with me, and larger book albums at home for long-term storage. I have reviewed a few of the best options below, along with some pros and cons.
Do I need a picture album for my Fujifilm Instax film prints?
It’s entirely up to you. Some people choose to repurpose existing albums, old tins or loose containers to store their prints. I have even used business card holders which work particularly well for the Instax Mini films as they are the same size.
However, if you want your photos to be seen and displayed, nothing beats a made for purpose Instax photo album. Anyone from the Polaroid era will know how much better and easier it is to keep your prints in exact size Polaroid albums.

Top 4 Reasons to Get a Fujifilm Instax Photo Album
1. Keep your Instax prints organized
These cameras are super addictive – you have been warned.
It’s surprising how quickly you will shoot your way through a bulk pack of Instax film. Considering that is the cheapest way to buy Instax film, it won’t be long before you are lost in piles of prints. Staying organized from day one will save you from loads of clutter and make it super easy to find shots at a later date.
2. Arrange by year, subject, location or people
However, you like to categorize your prints, having a set of albums allows you build up a series of related images and keep them neatly together. This is a great way to see your progression as a photographer and makes for a logical and flowing way to view and show off your work to others.
3. It’s a great birthday or anniversary present
A full book album with personal notes is one of the best and most heartfelt gifts you can give.
Perhaps you have a best friend, partner, family relative or work friend that you want to give a special present. Customizing an album for them with photos will be a gift they will never forget. A budget and creative way to impress!
4. Excellent alternative to a journal or diary
In a world of daily vlogs and Instagram, an Instax photo album is a great alternative to a standard diary of a journal.
Now you can keep a daily photo to go with your musings as a long-term reminder of each day. An added benefit of this option is it makes you shoot each day, meaning your photography and creative skill will improve all the time! Having a wallet album on you wherever you shoot is the best way to put away today’s keeper shot.
The 5 Best Fujifilm Instax Film Photo Album Reviews
1. Fujifilm Instax Wallet Album
Suits: Instax Mini Film
Capacity: 108 Prints
Product Dimensions: 6 x 3.8 x 5.5 inches
Pros: Official merch. Perfect fit. Matching camera colors. Low Price.
Cons: Only for Instax Mini Film.
Rating: 5/5
Fujifilm’s official Instax Mini album is the perfect companion to your Mini 8, Mini 9, Mini 70 or Mini 90.
Don’t let the name fool you, while the product shots look phone sized, this album is larger than you might think. It’s as wide as an Instax Mini 9 camera and slightly taller, with each page fitting 3 prints vertically. Once you get used to it though it really is a fantastic size and still very portable.
It also fits a surprising amount of prints for a low priced wallet style album, held firmly shut with a sturdy strap and loop. Like a lot of Fuji products, it comes in a full range of colors to match the Instax Mini 8 and Instax Mini 9 cameras and is built to a high standard. The material isn’t the best fake leather ever, but for the low cost, this is an amazing product.
2. Mini Printed Photo Album for Fujifilm Instax
Suits: Instax Mini Film
Capacity: 104 Prints
Product Dimensions: 4.33 x 5.51 x 0.86 inches
Pros: Cool designs. Small “wallet” size. Low Price.
Cons: Only for Instax Mini Film.
Rating: 5/5
This printed Mini photo album is an actual wallet sized and style picture album that is perfect for kids and adults alike.
Perfect for throwing in a purse or backpack, they are the perfect carry case for your Instax pictures. There is really nothing to dislike about this product, with a high-quality build and a low price it’s a win-win. Fitting 2 prints per page, it ends up being a bit chunky when fully loaded with 104 pictures but is a versatile little album.
3.Vintage 64 Pockets Fujifilm Instax Mini Photo Album
Suits: Instax Mini Film
Capacity: 128/64 Prints
Product Dimensions: 8.5 x 6.7 x 1.1 inches
Pros: Classic Vintage book design. Small mobile size.
Cons: Only for Instax Mini Film. Low-quality materials.
Rating: 4/5
If the printed album was a bit over the top for you then look no further. This little book style album is roughly the same size, but half as thick, fitting upto 128 prints. Coming in a more classic look, these beautiful albums resemble a small poem book or journal. Small enough to fit in a coat pocket, it’s the perfect mobile album to quickly stash your shots.
4. French Chic “Album De Polaroid Pour Ma Memoire” Photo Album
Suits: Instax Mini Film
Capacity: 120 Prints
Product Dimensions: 8.5 x 6.7 x 1.1 inches
Pros: Vintage Retro Rustic design. High-quality material finish.
Cons: Only for Instax Mini Film. Loose film slots. Not very sturdy.
Rating: 3.5/5
If you are going for a rustic vintage look then this is the album for you.
This is a larger book style photo album that fits 3 prints per page with space to write notes. Featuring a very French chic style cover design on a few material and color options, this has a high end feel to it.
Unfortunately, it appears this product doesn’t always hold up to ongoing use. The film slots can unstick and come loose, causing you photos to spill out, and the book ends up bulging a bit when full. Better suited to an Instax wedding album or special occasion where it won’t be viewed constantly.
5. Scrapbook Style Ringbound Card Album
Suits: Instax Mini Film
Capacity: 60 Prints
Pros: Rustic raw paper design. Easily Customizable.
Cons: Only for Instax Mini Film. Odd cover print.
Rating: 3.5/5
This one goes out to all the lovers out there…because it is perfect for a scrapbook wedding album.
Essentially just a book of brown card with cut slots to pop your prints into, this album is great for adding your own design and flair to for the big day. It’s also great for kids and anyone crafty who wants to design their own albums. Just beware it does have an odd crab design in the corner of the cover that will need to be covered over.
Each page has slots for 3 pictures but can only use one side of each page. This works great though because you can write notes on the opposite side for each shot!
