Ever since I was young I have always made sure to try and get the best bang for my buck. Like most savvy consumers I always trawl reviews before making a purchase, particularly when it comes to electronics. Combine this with my lifelong passion hobby of photography and it was really only a matter of time before a site like Instant Photo Pro was born.

There are already plenty of websites that review all the latest camera gear. However, more often than not these reviews are written from a quick play with a pre-production unit, or even based only on a press release! At Instant Photo Pro, we take time to write our detailed reviews over a long period of time. Constantly tweaking them based on user comments for issues and tips, as well as our own experience with the device. We also keep an eye on what other reviewers are saying to see how each camera is perceived in the marketplace. We do all this so that you don’t have to waste time reading hundreds of pages of similar reviews on different “tech” sites- because we present all the key points in one detailed, but succinct review.
The other thing that makes us different from all the other tech review sites is we are solely focused on all things instant photography – and nothing else. Over time we will try and feature every device found on the market here – Polaroid, Fujifilm, Impossible Project and heck even Kodak.

How did you rate your reviews and come up with top products?
Everything here is based on consumer reviews and a lot experience with Instant photography. We don’t sugar coat our reviews. If a product is universally lauded and our experience reflects that, we say it, if a lot of customers have had issues and ongoing problems -then we will write it. When taking on-board comments from other sources, we look for detailed reviews from verified buyers that highlight both the strengths and weaknesses of the product in a way that is helpful to a potential buyer.
We rank based on the combination of factors – main features, camera design, ease-of-use, consumer rating and price are the main ones.
Why do all this work for free?
My main goal is to help people find the right product for them, and hopefully impart some helpful tips on how to get the best results from your camera. If I do a good job of that, sometimes through my site I get a commission associate programs. Ideally though I just want everyone looking to have fun with their camera and get the same rewards out of their photography that I do.
